Overview
Installed at the front end of a beamline, PBPM monitors photon beam position and angle in real time with about an order of magnitude higher sensitivity than eBPM, requiring wide dynamic range, excellent linearity and long-term stability for fast orbit feedback.
Features
- Integrates 4 channels of high-precision I/V conversion and digital signal processing circuitry
- Accommodates a wide dynamic range from hundreds of nA to mA
- Excellent input-output linearity (INL < 0.1%)
- Excellent measurement accuracy (< 0.1%)
- Excellent long-term drift performance (< 0.1% @ 24 h)
- On-board position computation; calculation mode and coefficients remotely configurable
